SkyWalker’s investment group is responsible for identifying, underwriting, acquiring, and executing on opportunistic and value-add commercial real estate investments. SkyWalker has a successful track record of nearly 20 years of investments with a weighted average IRR of 53.30% on completed investments. SkyWalker recently formed the Hangover Opportunity Fund, a friends and family fund formed to capitalize on distressed real estate opportunities. The $10 million fund will acquire property directly or via co-investment with private equity partners with a total acquisition goal of $100 million over the next three to five years.
SkyWalker’s strategy targets properties from $2 to $10 million, which is a niche that is typically too large for individual investors but small enough that we do not compete with institutional investors on larger properties. The focus is on highly opportunistic commercial properties in Texas and on more conservative assets in select markets in neighboring states.
